How to Reach Guano hills
Guano hills are located just 15 km away from Nainital city. You can hire a bus, taxi cab or auto-rickshaw to reach the Pangot village area where they are located. Once there, you can trek the hills.
To reach Nainital, you can either travel by train, bus or airplane or drive yourself. There are plenty of buses commuting to Nainital from major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Agra etc.
If you prefer traveling by air, Pantnagar Airport is the nearest airport which is about 65 km away from Nainital city. There are a lot of travelling options available from the airport to Nainital city. Both shared and private taxis commute between the airport and the city. If you are traveling from Delhi airport, then you can opt for luxury bus service as well to Nainital.
You can also opt for a private cab from top car rental companies in Nainital for a hassle free commutation within the hill station.
